Feb 27

We here at Apple Universe strongly support re-distribution of our content, because come on, we want more listeners! With that said; if you enjoy Apple Universe and blog about us, please not only link directly to us [appleuniversepodcast.com], but don’t copy our content word-for-word, and then blithely call it your own. Apple Universe works very hard to make sure that it’s content is up to par, and enjoyable for you and tens of thousands around the world. So again, please follow the following simple rules when writing about Apple Universe:

  1. Link to Us. - If you can, please link to the blog post/page you pulled from, if not just please to AppleUniversePodcast.com.
  2. Don’t Copy Our Text Word For Word. - Please re-phrase the sentence(s) you pulled, and be sure to mention it’s from Apple Universe.

We are sorry.

Thanks for understanding, and if you have any questions please feel free to e-mail us at: info@appleuniverse.com

Sincerely,

Just an html error, you may want to fix the last paragraph, there’s some html that’s a little messed up.

  6. Tyler Says:

Who are you referring to specifically?

  7. Michael Perlman Says:

@Anon: Since becoming his editor, I have been working with Daniel on copyright issues. The method we used to reproduce that article was under somewhat proper conditions (with the use of blockquote markup and referring to the source), and the article’s author (Chris Pirillo) probably wouldn’t mind such re-use of his content.
